Sean Haight, PhD, is a Senior Staff Passive Safety Performance Engineer at Tesla, where they manage a global team and evaluate vehicle safety attributes. With extensive experience in automotive safety, Sean has previously worked at the National Crash Analysis Center and the Center for Collision Safety and Analysis, contributing to significant research and development in vehicle testing and simulation. They hold a PhD in Computational Science from George Mason University, as well as an MSc in Transportation Safety Engineering from The George Washington University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University.
