Shunfeng Cheng

Shunfeng Cheng, Ph.D., CRE, currently serves as a Senior Staff Robotics Reliability Engineer at Tesla, focusing on the reliability of Dojo components and car body controllers. They previously held several senior R&D engineering roles at Intel Corporation, where they specialized in assessing reliability risks and developing machine learning-based models for anomaly detection. Shunfeng also has experience as a research scientist at the Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation Center in China, and has contributed to the quality and reliability of various electronic devices through roles at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Applied Materials. They hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, along with ongoing master's and bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
