Simone Gasbarroni

Simone Gasbarroni is a software engineering professional who currently serves as Lead backend engineer at Lualtek. At Oval (2020–2021), they served as Product Owner, improving and maintaining a financial services platform with more than 500k users and over 20M assets under management, and enabled over 100k users to migrate to a new banking provider. They also served as Chapter Lead Backend Team at Oval, joining as the first employee and growing the engineering team to 10, coaching Scrum, and designing a queue-based distributed backend for banking services. Prior to that, they worked as Software Engineer at Casavo (2022–2023) and as Chief Information Technology Officer at Movieday (2021–2022), and were IT Manager and IT Trainer at MKS SISTEMI (2010–2011). They completed high school in Computer Science at ITIS Amedeo Avogadro (2003–2009).
