Stefano Mottarelli

Stefano Mottarelli is a seasoned professional in public policy and business development, currently serving as the Public Policy Senior Manager for EMEA at Tesla since 2017, following a role as Policy & Business Development Manager in Italy. Prior experience includes positions in public and EU affairs at Edison spa from 2012 to 2017, and public and regulatory affairs at Axpo Group - EGL Italia in 2011-2012. Mottarelli began his career as a Foreign Investment Consultant at UniCredit between 2010 and 2011 and worked as a Financial Adviser at Maccorp Italiana S.p.A. from 2007 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master SAFE in Gestione delle Risorse Energetiche and degrees from Leiden University, Sciences Po, and Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Additionally, Mottarelli is a member of the World Energy Council's Future Energy Leaders’ Programme FEL-100.
