Sumit Joshi

Sumit Joshi is a Staff Autopilot Engineer at Tesla, where they focus on optimizing machine learning workloads and developing custom kernels. Previously, they held the position of Principal Design Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, where they led the development of optimized convolutional neural networks and conducted power analysis on DSP processors. Sumit earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech, where they also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant. With a background in image processing and neural network optimization, Sumit continually engages with the latest advancements in computer vision.
