Suraj Nagaraj

Suraj Nagaraj is a highly experienced engineering professional with over two decades in the automotive industry, currently serving as Sr Director of Homologation Engineering at Tesla since April 2010, where responsibilities have included overseeing multiple roles in homologation. Previously, Nagaraj worked at General Motors from January 2003 to March 2010 as the Lead Global Homologation Engineer, managing regulatory compliance and testing for various vehicle models, and also held roles in validation and specialty products engineering. Earlier experience includes roles as a Product Engineer at ZF Group and a Mechanical Engineer at Saven Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Nagaraj holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.
