Swapnil Bhatnagar is the VP of Internal Audit, Project Controls & Advisory at Tesla. Swapnil has over 20 years of experience in the field.

Bhatnagar started their career at Daimler as a Financial Consultant in 1999. Swapnil then moved to Ernst & Young LLP in 2001 and worked their way up to Senior Manager. During their time at Ernst & Young, Bhatnagar gained industry experience in healthcare, automotive, media and entertainment, and manufacturing.

In their current role at Tesla, Bhatnagar is responsible for leading the company's internal audit function and providing advisory services to Tesla's management team and board of directors.

Swapnil Bhatnagar has a Bachelor in International Business from Reutlingen University, an MBA in Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University, and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA). Swapnil is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional / Information Technology (CIPP/IT) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
