Te-Chen Tsai

Te-Chen Tsai is an experienced Autopilot Hardware Engineer at Tesla, with a career in microprocessor physical design spanning over 16 years. Prior to joining Tesla in May 2018, Te-Chen worked as a Physical Design Engineer at Intel Corporation and Soft Machines, and as a Senior Design Engineer at AMD, where responsibilities included logic synthesis, netlist creation, timing analysis, and electrical analysis. Te-Chen began the professional journey with an internship at Cadence Design Systems, focused on algorithms for analog design automation. Te-Chen holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
