Vineet Mehta

Vineet Mehta has over 17 years of experience in the field of thin-film deposition and etching. Vineet is currently the Director of Battery Technology & Powertrain Architecture/Modeling at Tesla. Prior to joining Tesla, they were the founder of 219 Design, LLC, where they specialized in the development of HF and VHF plasma processes. Vineet has also worked as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Applied Materials, where they developed RF and magnetron sputtering processes.

Vineet Mehta's educational career began with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Vineet then went on to Stanford University where they received their MSME in Energy Systems, Mechatronics.

Vineet Mehta works with and Colin Campbell - Senior Director, Powertrain Engineering. Their manager is Drew Baglino, SVP, Powertrain & Energy Engineering.
