Yang Wang has extensive experience in the automotive and energy sectors, with a career spanning over a decade. Yang began as a Power Electronics Engineer at The Vollrath Company from August 2009 to July 2013, followed by a role as a Sr. Li-ion Battery System Engineer at Johnson Controls from July 2013 to January 2019. Afterward, Yang served as a Sr. Technical Program Manager at Farasis Energy, focusing on automotive Li-ion battery testing from January 2019 to February 2021. Yang returned to Tesla in March 2021 as a Senior NPI Technical Program Manager, responsible for the new production introduction of 4680 battery cell manufacturing, and currently works as a Senior Technical Program Manager for charging products, specifically in automotive wireless charging solutions, since April 2024.
