Amanda Burton

Amanda Burton is a Research Agronomist at Tessenderlo Group since June 2023, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Agroscope, where machine learning and crop models were employed to analyze winter wheat yield and protein content. With a PhD in Agronomy from Penn State University, Amanda has extensive experience as a Graduate Research Assistant focused on sustainable agriculture and crop modeling, as well as teaching roles in sustainable and organic agriculture. Prior roles include internships in urban agriculture and soil research, operational coordination at New Haven Farms, and research assistant positions at Yale University and the University of Vermont, encompassing microbiology, neurobiology, and pediatric research.
