Ayaan Hossain

Ayaan Hossain is a Scientist II specializing in Machine Learning and Computational Biology at Tessera Therapeutics since January 2022, following a progression from Scientist I in the same field. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from August 2016 to December 2021, where Ayaan engineered algorithms for the automated design and analysis of genetic parts and developed machine learning models for predicting gene expression and other key biological processes. Additionally, Ayaan contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Genomics 551 course at Penn State, managing course assignments and evaluations. Ayaan holds a PhD in Bioinformatics and Genomics from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Aliah University.
