Lavanya Venkatesan

Lavanya Venkatesan is a Senior Research Associate at Tessera Therapeutics with a background in Biology/Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech. Lavanya has experience working as a Graduate Research Assistant in various research projects related to genetic variations, cell signaling in cancer, and post-transcriptional regulation. Lavanya has also volunteered at DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donor Registry and worked on media standardization and in vitro propagation of plant species with potential medical applications during their undergraduate studies. Additionally, Lavanya has interned at Apollo Hospitals and the Cancer Institute Adyar, gaining practical experience in stem cell transplantation and sample preparation techniques for electron microscopy.
