Lorenzo Tozzi

Lorenzo Tozzi has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Lorenzo currently holds the position of Principal Scientist at Tessera Therapeutics, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at bluebird bio from 2018 to 2022, initially as a Scientist I and later as a Scientist II. Before joining bluebird bio, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tufts University from 2013 to 2018. Lorenzo also gained experience as a PostDoc at Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2012 to 2013 and as a Visiting Scientist at CeMM in 2011. These roles allowed him to contribute to various research projects in the fields of hematology and cancer genomics. Following that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2012.
