Before AstraZeneca, Nicole was employed at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they held several positions including Global Head of External Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, HR Leadership & Innovation Operations Lead, HR Strategy and Planning Specialist, and Human Resources Coordinator. Their earlier work experience includes roles at Cooley LLP as a Patent Prosecution Assistant, Massachusetts General Hospital as a Patient Services Coordinator, and Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Practice Assistant.
Nicole Platzer attended the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2022, where they pursued a program in Leadership Development to Advance Equity in Health Care. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General at Suffolk University. At Suffolk University, they also obtained a Minor in Communication, General. Additionally, they received a certification as a CQ® Certified Facilitator: Unconscious Bias Train-the-Trainer from the Cultural Intelligence Center in 2021.
