Principal Integration Engineer at Tesseract Health

Brett Gyarfas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brett currently works at Tesseract Health as a Principal Integration Engineer since September 2019. Prior to this, they were employed at Ontera as a Principal Engineering Architect from May 2019 to September 2019. Brett also worked as a Principal Engineering Architect at Two Pore Guys, Inc. from September 2017 to May 2019.

In 2013, they co-founded Quantum-Si (a 4Catalyzer Company) where they served as a Senior Scientist and played a crucial role in its development until September 2017. Before that, they were a Research Engineer at Arizona State University, Biodesign Institute from August 2011 to July 2013, where they specialized in developing DNA sequencing technologies.

Brett's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Arizona State University Biodesign Institute from March 2010 to August 2011, where they played a key role in developing a prototype for next-gen sequencing technology. Brett also worked as a Graduate Student/Researcher at UC Santa Cruz from September 2005 to May 2010, where they focused on control systems applied to biological nanopores.

Additionally, Brett has some past experience as a Consultant at Australo for a short period in April 2008. Brett has also served as a Summer Researcher at NASA Ames Research Center in 2006 and completed a Quality Assurance Internship at General Dynamics - Itronix in 2002.

Brett Gyarfas pursued their education in the field of Computer Engineering. Brett completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Embedded Systems from Washington State University between 2000 and 2004. Later, they went on to earn a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, completing their doctoral studies between 2005 and 2010.
