Marco M.

Marco M. has a range of experience in software project management and development, primarily within the healthcare industry. Marco currently holds the position of Head of Software at Identifeye Health, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, Marco worked at Roche for over 20 years in several leadership positions. Marco served as the Sr. Director of Software Project Management and Engineering Operations, where they established and led a technical project management organization. During their time at Roche, Marco successfully launched multiple software products in the sequencing space. Marco also served as a Sr. Technical Project Leader, responsible for creating the first direct-to-patient product for Roche Molecular Diagnostics. Marco has experience managing large budgets, complying with international standards, and leading interdisciplinary teams. Marco is skilled in agile software project management, requirements management, and software testing. Before their leadership roles, Marco worked as a software engineer and an apprentice trainer/instructor at Roche. Marco has a strong background in software development and implementation, including unit testing and documentation. Marco's expertise in software project management, development, and compliance make him a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.

Marco M. began their education in 2001 at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where they pursued a degree in Informatics. Marco successfully completed their studies in 2005, earning a Dipl. Ing. Inf. FH. Later, in 2009, they returned to the same institution to pursue an MBA in Luzern with a focus on Business Administration and Management, which they completed in 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marco M. has obtained additional certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance, obtained in August 2019, and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile Inc, obtained in June 2020.
