Yaniv Aknin

Yaniv Aknin is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software and site reliability engineering. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Tessl since April 2024, Yaniv has previously held significant roles at Google from May 2013 to April 2024, including Senior Staff Software Engineer and Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer, where responsibilities included leadership in compute resource efficiency at GCP's Cloud Networking and reliability analytics for GCP. Prior to Google, Yaniv worked at Fusic as a Software Developer and held various positions at IBM and XIV, focusing on systems engineering and professional services. Yaniv's career began in the IDF as a Systems Administrator from 1999 to 2002.
