Chris Donnelly

Chris Donnelly is an experienced professional with a robust background in community engagement, public policy, and heritage preservation. Currently serving as Community Engagement Manager at Rugby Football Union since September 2016, Chris develops sponsorship programs and schools engagement initiatives aligned with organizational goals. In addition, Chris has served as a Councillor for the Andover Downlands ward at Test Valley Borough Council since May 2019, holding positions on the Full Council and as Chairman of the Licensing Committee. As Chairman of the Waverley Route Heritage Association since November 2019, Chris focuses on preserving the history of the former Carlisle to Edinburgh railway route. Previous roles include Policy Officer at Citizens Advice and various policy positions within local councils. Chris holds a Master of Philosophy in Criminology from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Laws from Newcastle University, complemented by the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law.
