Kevin Harrington

Kevin Harrington has over 25 years of experience in parks and countryside management, currently serving as Parks and Countryside Manager at Test Valley Borough Council since August 1998. Responsibilities include managing a multidisciplinary team of 23 staff focused on biodiversity, horticulture, and landscape management, while also overseeing the strategic development of community facilities and contributing to major development projects. Previous roles at Test Valley include Environment Officer, overseeing 350 hectares of green space, and Countryside Officer, managing 100 hectares of protected habitats. Prior to joining Test Valley, Kevin worked as a Landscape Contractor at Wyevale Landscapes. Kevin holds an MA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Gloucestershire and a BSc in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of the West of England.
