Mark Smidt

Mark Smidt is an experienced culinary and sales professional with a strong background in the food industry. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Testa Produce, Inc. since November 2019, Mark previously held roles including Executive Sous Chef at Truluck's Seafood, Steak and Crab House and Executive Chef at Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood. Mark began a career in retail as a Retail Sales Manager at Meijer from August 2001 to December 2012. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from Kansas State University, earned between 2018 and 2023, as well as a degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry and Culinary from Elgin Community College, completed from 2009 to 2012.
