Sylvain Delporte has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sylvain began their career in 2000 at Onix Microsystems as a Test Engineer, where they designed and built semi-automated test stations for MEMS-based optical switches. Sylvain then joined Reflectivity Inc in 2002 as a Manager of Test Engineering, where they were responsible for designing and developing test systems for advanced micro displays. During their time at Reflectivity Inc, they also provided inspection tools and training to the manufacturing partner in China.

In 2006, Sylvain founded Optitest LLC, a company that provided custom solutions for testing advanced microdevices. Sylvain worked with customers such as US Government Lab before joining Technicolor Digital Cinema later that year as a System Test Engineer. At Technicolor Digital Cinema, they led the test and support efforts for the Theatre Management System and integrated and qualified digital cinema screen server and projectors.

In 2008, Sylvain joined Deluxe Entertainment Services Group as the Director of Production Applications. In this role, they were responsible for the maintenance and availability of global business-critical applications and systems. Sylvain managed datacenter migrations, deployed systems in multiple countries and continents, and oversaw procurement, installation, and training. Sylvain also provided support for DevOps resources and managed the company's DR capability. Sylvain remained with Deluxe Entertainment Services Group until February 2019.

In 2013, Sylvain co-founded Testamento, where they served as the CTO. Sylvain was responsible for the technical aspects of the company, contributing to its growth and success. In 2018, they became a co-owner of TBD Sans Frontieres, Inc.

Sylvain Delporte obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Opto-electronics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 1995 and 2000. In 1999, they also completed an internship in MEMS at UCLA. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2019, AWS for DevOps: Security, Governance, and Validation from LinkedIn in April 2020, CISSP Cert Prep: 8 Software Development Security from LinkedIn in January 2021, Dell/Compellent Storage admin from Dell Technologies in April 2009, Certified Microsoft Technology Specialist SQL 2008 from Microsoft, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, and Network+ from Comptia.
