Amit Dedhia

Amit Dedhia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology field.

Amit started their career as a Project Lead at Corcomp Infosystems Ltd in 2001, where they worked as a Tech Architect and project lead for .NET based products in the retail garment and transportation industries. Amit also worked on C++ based multi-threaded applications as a Sr programmer.

In 2003, Amit joined Blue Star Infotech Ltd as a Technical Architect, Lead cum Developer, and Project Manager. Amit primarily worked on Health Sciences products such as Diagnostic Imaging, Lab Instruments, and Image Processing. Amit was involved in solutioning and development using Microsoft .NET 4.

Starting from 2013, Amit served as a Sr. Solution Architect at CitiusTech, where they successfully managed a large team of engineers for clients in the manufacturing diagnostic imaging equipment and medical insurance sectors. Amit handled various responsibilities, including driving project development, client relationship management, people management, and technical leadership. Amit'sexpertise was in .NET 3.

From 2015 to 2019, Amit worked at Mesitis (Canopy) as a Senior Engineer. Amit was responsible for the development and architecture of the Canopy product. Technologies utilized during this time included Python, VB.NET, Postgres, and JavaScript.

In 2020, Amit joined Pucho Technology Information Private Limited as a Deep Learning Intern and then moved to Aerobi as a Machine Learning Developer. Amit'swork at Aerobi involved computer vision, object detection, semantic segmentation neural network models, and various other techniques using libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow 2.

In 2021, Amit joined viAct as a Machine Learning Developer, and in 2022, they worked as an Independent Contractor specializing in Machine Learning and Python at Canopy.

Currently, Amit is working as a Senior Backend Engineer at TestGorilla, starting from 2023.

Amit Dedhia completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai and Vivekanand Edu. Soc. Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1998. Amit has also obtained additional certifications in AI for Medicine from Coursera in November 2022, Natural Language Processing With Deep Learning from Stanford Online in April 2022, and Mathematics for Machine Learning from Coursera in January 2022.
