Lauren Gardner

Lauren Gardner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Lauren started their career as a Hardware Store Manager at South Fork Hardware Co from 2009 to 2012, where they performed clerical duties, assisted customers with hardware problems, and performed basic mechanical procedures. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Kennel Manager at Thorn Creek Kennel, managing the kennel office, caring for dogs, and assisting in training classes. Lauren then became a Writing Tutor and later a Training Supervisor at BYU-Idaho Online Writing Center from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, they worked as a Freelance Editor until 2016. From 2016 onwards, Lauren worked at TestOut Corporation as an Editing and Content QA Lead, leading editing and quality assurance processes for multiple course development projects simultaneously. During their time at TestOut, they created and copy edited information technology course content using various software. Additionally, Lauren had a brief stint as a Marketing/Production Intern at Stillwaters Press in 2016.

Lauren Gardner received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Technical Communication from Brigham Young University - Idaho in the years 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Micromasters in Project Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in August 2019 and became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in August 2020.
