Tim Zur

Tim Zur has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tim began their career as a Partner at Zur & Partner, where they worked from 1999 to 2006. Tim then served as a University Lecturer at the Institute of Eastern European Studies at Freie Universität Berlin in 2005 and 2006. From 2006 to 2013, Tim worked at Holcim in several positions, including Senior Project Manager, Member of the Board of Directors, and Head of Procurement. Tim also had a role as Managing Director at ZENITINVEST LLC from 2013 to 2015. Furthermore, Tim was the Managing Partner at ZI Ventures GmbH, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage ventures. Tim worked there from 2015 to the present. Tim joined Nordic Yards in 2016 as the Managing Director of the company's real estate companies, where they oversaw the sale of shipyard assets. In 2017, they co-founded testxchange GmbH and served as the company's Co-Founder & CFO. Since 2016, Tim has been the Managing Director of SUMOLIGHT GmbH.

Tim Zur completed an executive education seminar on Leadership at IMD in 2007. Prior to that, they earned an M.A. with honors in Easter European Studies / International Business from Freie Universität Berlin from 2002 to 2005. Before that, they obtained a State Exam in Law from the University of Tübingen from 1998 to 2002. Tim'stertiary education began at the University of Geneva, where they studied law from 1996 to 1998.
