Benji Brown

Benji Brown is the CEO of Tesuji Games Inc, a position they have held since December 2015. Prior to that, they were the CTO of Whim, a mobile dating app/service, from November 2014 to December 2015. During their time at Whim, they built and led the front and backend development needed for the app, and grew the engineering team into a lean and super solid group of individuals. Benji also focused and refined the technical vision needed to make Whim a success in the market place. Benji's previous experience includes working as a Lead Mobile Engineer at Flagship, where they led multiple iOS/Android client projects along with contributing development efforts and architecture design. Some of the projects they worked on include MyNHO - PDF management/viewing HR app, WannaDo - REST driven event discovery/ticketing app, PHC Match - HR employee onboarding app, and Campus Outlet - social/messaging peer to peer trading app. Benji also has experience as a founder and CEO of Studio B Flat. Benji's skills and expertise include golang, parse, push notifications, obj-c, swift, geo-spatial analysis, algorithms, UX/UI design, java, famous.js, meteor.js, node.js, C#, android, iOS, mongodb, ironMQ.

Benji Brown's educational career includes a BA in Music from the University of California, Santa Cruz, as well as Sierra College in Nevada City/Rocklin. Benji also attended Nevada Union High School.
