Ryan Chan

Ryan Chan has held a variety of roles in the research and development field since 2006. Ryan began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University in 2006. Ryan then completed a Research Internship at Corning Incorporated in 2008, where they studied damage accumulation and its mechanisms in Advanced Cordierite for Environmental Substrate Applications. In 2009, Ryan began a Graduate Research Assistant role at RTI International, where they participated in a Corporate/University partnership program to conduct research as part of a Ph.D. program at NC State University. In 2013, Ryan joined Tethis, Inc., where they held the roles of Co-Founder & President, VP of Research and Development, Interim CTO, Program Manager & Product Development Group Lead, and Product Development Specialist & Lab Manager. Most recently, in 2022, Ryan began their current role as Director of Research & Development at Noel Group LLC.

Ryan Chan attended North Carolina State University from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration. Ryan continued their studies at North Carolina State University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering in 2013.
