Faisal Bhuiyan is a Senior Research Engineer at Teton Simulation. Faisal has a background in software engineering and has been with Teton for 2 years and 4 months. Their research focuses on developing novel analysis methods for additive manufacturing processes and parts, specifically the fused-filament fabrication (FFF) process. Faisal is also responsible for commercial software development to perform structural analysis of FFF parts to meet end-use requirements, as well as optimization of the part for mass and print time. In addition, they have developed an FFF process simulation to predict warpage during printing.
Faisal Bhuiyan has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Faisal is a certified Publons Academy Peer Reviewer and has completed courses in SOLID Principles: Introducing SW Architecture and Design, Composite Manufacturing, Machine Learning, and Leadership: Practical Skills.
