Tim Bishton has a significant work experience history. Tim has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Tim started working at KPMG in 1999 as a Senior Manager, where they gained experience in audit, consultancy, and transaction services. Tim then joined National Grid in 2007, where they held multiple positions including Head of Group Financial Reporting and UK Financial Controller. In 2017, they became the Global Chief Risk Officer at National Grid, responsible for enterprise risk management and compliance. In 2023, they joined Tetra Laval International as the Head of Internal Audit.
Tim Bishton attended Newcastle University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences. Following this, from 1997 to 1999, Tim attended ICAEW, where they obtained their ACA qualification.

The Tetra Laval Group is the leading group for food processing and packaging equipment in the world. With cutting-edge knowledge in every aspect of liquid foods, the three industry groups offer a solution for every possible problem within liquid food processing, packaging and distribution. Tetra Laval International is the financial support and control function for the Board. This organisation has responsibility for financing the Tetra Laval Group and managing its overall legal structure, tax planning, financial and equity structures. Tetra Laval International proposes and ensures compliance with Group reporting processes, executes acquisitions and disposals and plays a lead role in Corporate Governance.
