Geoffrey Wallesverd is an experienced Drilling and Completion Fluids Engineer with a career spanning over four decades in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Tetra Technologies, MI SWACO & SpacerTek since December 2014, Geoffrey specializes in completion fluid engineering in the Gulf of Mexico's deepwater sector, focusing on drillships and semi-submersibles. Prior experience includes roles as a Consultant Senior Mud Engineer at Penn Virginia Oil and Gas, where 20,000-foot horizontal holes were drilled in Shiner, Texas, as well as positions with MI Drilling Fluids and MISwaco/Baker Hughes, where responsibilities encompassed daily fluid properties and inventory control. Geoffrey's consulting background, which began in August 1982, includes extensive collaboration with top companies in the drilling fluids sector. Educationally, Geoffrey holds a Drilling Fluids Diploma from MISWACO Mud Engineer School and an Associate’s degree in Business from Broward Community College.
