Shane Motty

Shane Motty is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. As an Applied Engineering / Technical Manager and Senior Engineering Advisor at TETRA Technologies, Inc. since March 2012, Shane specializes in engineering displacements and well bore completions, particularly in deep water applications. Prior to this role, Shane served as Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure at Sabre Energy Services LLC, where responsibilities included the development of company policy and complete hiring authority. Shane’s career also includes significant roles at Halliburton - Baroid, providing expertise on completion fluids for major projects such as bp's Atlantis and Chevron's Deepwater Agbami. Additional experience includes positions at Schlumberger - Dowell Drilling Fluids and Francis Drilling Fluids, as well as military service as an MLRS Crewmember in the US Army.
