Philip Balzafiore

Philip Balzafiore currently serves as Group Head Of Tax at Tetragon Financial Group Limited since August 2020. Prior to this role, Philip was Global Head of Tax at AQR Capital Management from March 2015 to July 2020. Philip's extensive experience includes positions at UBS, where responsibilities included Head Strategic Tax Advisory & Counsel and Senior Tax Counsel from August 2004 to March 2015, as well as a role as Senior Manager at KPMG US from 1995 to 2004. Philip holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law (1996-1998), a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University (1992-1995), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Hofstra University (1986-1990).
