Di Zhang

Di Zhang has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as an ML Model Development Engineer at TetraMem - Accelerate The World, which began in 2023. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, Di worked at Aibee Inc. as an Algorithm Engineer. In this role, they accomplished various tasks such as developing a deep learning training system for Face Recognition, creating an evaluation pipeline for real-time event detection, and implementing automated configuration management for AI retail products. Additionally, Di designed and delivered multiple CI/CD pipelines and collaborated on a Kafka-based AI data service. Before joining Aibee Inc., Di worked as a Software Engineer for HMI at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. They also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2017 and Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2015 to 2016.

Di Zhang pursued a Master's Degree in Electronic Computer System Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, Di Zhang completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Di Zhang has also obtained several certifications. These include "Building RESTful APIs with Flask" from LinkedIn in December 2022, "Algorithms Specialization" and "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in June and May 2018 respectively, "Completion and Passing DAT210x: Programming with Python for Data Science" from edX in March 2018, and "Java Tutorial course" and "SQL Fundamentals course" from SoloLearn in January 2018.
