Ajay Subramanian

Ajay Subramanian is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Vice President of Platform Engineering at TetraScience since December 2025. Previously, Ajay held the position of Director of Informatics Data Systems at Generate:Biomedicines, where efforts focused on creating a data backbone for research processes. At Benchling, Ajay was instrumental in various roles, including Head of Engineering for Data Interfaces, overseeing the development of the Developer Platform and Domain Graph Platform. Prior to that, Ajay made significant contributions at LinkedIn, leading the engineering team for LinkedIn Learning for Enterprises, and was an Engineering Manager for Search Infrastructure. Ajay has also been involved as a Technical Founder at Sift Shopping and held engineering roles at VMware and Azul. Ajay holds a Master of Science in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor's degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Delhi University and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
