Deepak Purushotham

Deepak Purushotham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in scientific data architecture and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientific Data Architect at TetraScience since July 2025, Deepak previously held roles as a Senior Scientist at Moderna, focused on laboratory automation and digital integration, and as a Staff Scientist at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where leadership in genomic data visualization and integration was demonstrated. Early career experiences include roles at Monsanto Company as a Research Associate specializing in next-generation sequencing data analysis and at the CDC as a Graduate Research Assistant developing tools for genomic informatics. Deepak holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from IILM Academy of Higher Learning.
