Marija Uglesic

Marija Uglesic is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong background in IT and Regulatory Affairs. Currently serving as Senior Director, IT R&D-Regulatory Affairs at Teva Pharmaceuticals since June 2020, Marija leads a multi-year initiative to standardize global regulatory processes on a unified platform. Previously, Marija was the Director of IT R&D EDMS, overseeing the harmonization of multiple legacy EDMS solutions. Marija's extensive experience at PLIVA, a Teva group member, included roles as Manager/Associate Director for Document Management Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed service delivery, team leadership, and process optimization. Marija also possesses hands-on experience as a Technologist and Validation Associate, focusing on production and quality assurance. Marija holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy and Clinical Chemistry from the University of Zagreb and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
