Nir Baron

Adv. Nir Baron joined Teva as Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) in May 2014. He manages the Global Internal Audit function, which performs independent assessment of the various company activities in terms of proper management, efficiency and integrity.

Prior to joining Teva, he was with the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), where he served from 2007 through 2012 as the Director of Investigations and Intelligence and a member of the management team. Previously, between 2001 and 2007, Adv. Baron served in various investigatory and managerial roles in the ISA, including Deputy Director of the Department of Investigations.

Baron is a member of the Israeli Bar, holding an LLB in Law from Tel Aviv University (1997). He holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science (1992, Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University and a Masters in Management from Boston University, Ben Gurion University Campus (1997).
