Dr. Schultz is a Senior Physician Executive and board-certified orthopedic surgeon. For most of his 25-plus year career, he worked at Baylor Scott and White, the largest healthcare system in Texas. Dr. Schultz held multiple leadership positions, including Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, Chief Medical Officer and multiple Medical Director positions, while serving as a teaching clinical professor at the Texas A&M Medical School. This experience is an ideal fit for his role as the 2018 lead for the Life Science Sector Industry Group for the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN). CTAN is the largest angel investing group in Texas, and was the #1 most active single-chapter group in the nation (2016 & 2015).
