Paul Rivett currently serves as Vice Chairman of Gold Reserve Inc. since May 2024 and has held various leadership roles in multiple organizations since 2020, including Chairperson of Chorus Aviation Inc. and GreenFirst Forest Products. Rivett is also President of Tevir Capital and has previously served as Chair of VerticalScope Inc. and Director for both Boreal Carbon Corporation and NorthStar Gaming. With a strong background in corporate governance, Rivett has extensive experience as an executive, having served as Chief Operating Officer for Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel from February 2010 to January 2020 and as a Director for Helios Fairfax Partners. Rivett holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Queen's University, in addition to legal education from the University of Toronto and York University's Osgoode Hall Law School.
