Uma Ramachandran

Uma Ramachandran's work experience spans over several years and includes a variety of roles. Uma most recently worked at Texada Software as the Director of Engineering. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Manager and Quality Assurance Manager at Uptake. Uma also gained experience as a Quality Assurance Manager at InvestCloud, Inc. and Envisor Technologies. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Lusight Research and Honeywell Process Solutions. Uma began their professional journey as a Research Assistant at Concordia University, where they focused on the verification, validation, and fault diagnosis of neural network techniques.

Uma Ramachandran has a strong education background in engineering and computer science. Uma earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathidasan University, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Building upon their undergraduate education, Uma went on to pursue a Master of Applied Sciences (MASc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University. Uma successfully completed this program from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Uma has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Uma completed the Agile Testing certification from LinkedIn in December 2019. Around the same time, they also completed the Git Essential Training: The Basics and Mobile Testing with Appium certifications, also offered by LinkedIn. In June 2019, Uma obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Uma had previously earned the Certified Scrum Master certification from the same institution in June 2015. Most recently, in June 2020, Uma obtained certifications in Agile Software Development: Code Quality and Gradle for Java Developers from LinkedIn, as well as the Microservices Foundations certification, also provided by LinkedIn.
