Melissa Sanford

Melissa Sanford has a strong background in finance and accounting. Melissa began their career as an Audit Intern at BKD, LLP in 2007. Melissa then moved on to Weaver and Tidwell where they worked as a Senior 1 from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined 1st Bank, NA as a Controller until 2015. Melissa then joined Texana Bank in 2015 and has held positions as both Controller and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer since February 2020.

Melissa Sanford obtained their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Central Arkansas, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Melissa also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
