Dr. Carole Nanette Smith

Dr. Carole NaNette Smith currently serves as the Assistant Principal of High School at Texans Can Academies since August 2021, where responsibilities include assisting in the overall administration of the instructional program and developing high-quality Professional Learning Communities. Prior to this, Dr. Smith was a Middle School Counselor at International Leadership of Texas from August 2018 to August 2021, contributing to the development of a comprehensive school counseling program. Earlier experience includes working as an Education Specialist at Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth, helping individuals complete their education and connect to career opportunities, and serving as a Secondary Counselor and Testing Coordinator at Arlington ISD for 13 years. Dr. Smith holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry in Bible/Biblical Studies and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. Additionally, Dr. Smith has credentials as a Licensed/Ordained Chaplain and a Certified Biblical Counselor.
