Annie L. McGowan

Annie L. McGowan is the interim VP & associate provost for diversity at Texas A&M University. Annie has previously worked for the university in various capacities, including as an administrator and professor. McGowan is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, and has worked to make Texas A&M a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.

Annie L. McGowan earned a BS in Accounting from Alcorn State University, a Master's degree in Accounting from Jackson State University, and a PhD in Accounting from the University of North Texas. Annie is currently a professor at the University of North Texas.
