Jasmine Kaur is currently a Public Health Workforce Training Intern at the Texas Department of State Health Services, where training plans are created for Epidemiology and Public Health Nursing. In addition, Jasmine serves as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M Health Science Center, contributing to a secret shopper survey evaluating Affordable Care Act marketplace networks. As a Texas East AHEC Scholar, participation in a nationally recognized two-year program includes extensive clinical and community-based training. Previous experience includes a US Policy and Reimbursement Intern role at Edwards Lifesciences, where landscape analyses of coding and payment for relevant procedures were conducted, and a Patient Encounter Specialist role at UAB Callahan Eye Hospital & Clinics. Educationally, Jasmine Kaur is pursuing a Master of Public Health at Texas A&M University after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
