Farah Merchant

Farah Merchant is a skilled digital media and social media strategist with extensive experience in content creation and marketing. Currently serving as the Digital Media Manager and Social Media Strategist at Texas Appleseed since January 2023, Farah also contributes to Con Safos Counseling, LLC in a similar role. Previously, Farah held positions as a Writer and Social Media Director at Spark Magazine from September 2019 to December 2021, and worked as a Preservation Scholar at the Texas Historical Commission during the summer of 2020. Additional experience includes role as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin and writing for The Daily Texan. Farah's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2022.
