Laura Felix

Laura Felix is a Public Relations Manager at Texas Appleseed since January 2023, having previously served as a Communication Aide for the Texas Senate from September 2020 to December 2022, within the Office of Senator Judith Zaffirini. Prior experience includes roles as a Public Affairs Intern at JHL and a Communication Intern at Annie's List in early 2020, as well as a Legislative Intern in the Texas Senate during late 2019 under Senator Zaffirini. Additionally, Laura gained experience as a Communication Intern at the Partnership for Public Service in the summer of 2019 and as a Systems and Operations Intern at United Way for Greater Austin in the summer of 2018. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2020, and has also participated in the Semester At Sea program since 2018.
