Deanna Auert has extensive experience in program management and event planning, currently serving as the Manager of TAC Programs & Education Services at the Texas Association of Counties since January 2009, where responsibilities include planning educational programs for County Elected Officials and staff, as well as preparing hotel RFPs and negotiating contracts. Previously, Deanna held roles such as Education Project Manager and Meeting Planner, focusing on comprehensive program planning and contract negotiations. Prior experience includes working as a Conference Service Manager at Barton Creek Resort & Spa from April 2001 to January 2009. Deanna completed education at Austin Community College from 2001 to 2005.

The Texas Association of Counties was established in 1969 to provide services to Texas counties and to promote the value of county government statewide. TAC is the representative voice for all 254 Texas counties and county officials. Through TAC, counties communicate the county perspective to state officials and the citizens of Texas.
