Melissa Maluski is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications and Media Manager for the Texas Association of Counties, overseeing a team and managing social media strategy. Prior roles include Communications Specialist at the same organization and Manager of Communications for New Student Services at The University of Texas at Austin, where responsibilities included managing various communication channels and creating strategic plans. Additional experience includes communications positions at the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and Texas Lottery Commission, as well as teaching journalism at Pflugerville ISD and New Braunfels Independent School District. Melissa began a career in marketing and coordination in the healthcare sector and holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University.

The Texas Association of Counties was established in 1969 to provide services to Texas counties and to promote the value of county government statewide. TAC is the representative voice for all 254 Texas counties and county officials. Through TAC, counties communicate the county perspective to state officials and the citizens of Texas.
