Anastasia Broadfoot

Anastasia Broadfoot currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the General Counsel Division at the Texas Attorney General's Office since March 2023. Prior to this role, Broadfoot worked as an Assistant General Counsel at the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission from March 2018 to February 2023 and held positions including Attorney in the Office of the General Counsel. Broadfoot was the Managing Partner & Counsel at 4Elemental LLC from 2007 to 2018 and served as an Attorney focused on Administrative Hearings and Licensing at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from July 2016 to June 2017. Additional experience includes working as an Attorney for Policy Development Counsel at the Texas Department of Insurance and as Legal Counsel for the State Preservation Board. Broadfoot began a career in public service as a Policy Aide in the Office of the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives in early 2005. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Psychology from Colorado State University.
