Texas Attorney General
John Zuercher is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General VI in the Transportation Division of the Texas Attorney General's office since May 2018. This role encompasses representing the Texas Department of Transportation in various litigation matters, including eminent domain, highway beautification law violations, contract enforcement, and employment discrimination claims. Prior to this position, Zuercher provided pro bono legal services at Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas and held an associate attorney role at Stone Loughlin & Swanson LLP. Zuercher's legal experience also includes internships at the Innocence Project of Texas and Raidla Lejins & Norcous, along with earlier roles as a data analyst in the Kansas State LTER Department and a research assistant in the Psychology Department at Kansas State University.
